A belligerent hitwoman navigates a world of cutthroat killers as she attempts to get the money together to start a bar down in Mexico.

Filmmaker Jonathan Niederer takes viewers on a wild, shadow-infused adventure through the blood-soaked streets of a fictionalized Venice, California.  Cutthroat killers are vying for rank and position within a vicious criminal organization and Olivia, a belligerent hitwoman on a mission, sets out to get the money together to escape this violent, phosphorescent underworld and open a bar down in Mexico. 

THE KILLS packs a punch of zany thrills as it “vacillates between bloodshed and humor” (Film Threat, 2024). Anette Puskas shoots, swigs, and stumbles her way through the movie as Olivia, a down-and-out hitwoman with dreams of a better life. It also features B-movie character actors Mike Ferguson and Galen Howard as menacing foes of Olivia, and an immersive score from musician Matt Donahue.
